Every file: up to 10 hours, 90+ languages, speaker labels and timestamps. After that, one-time packs: 3 hours for $6.99, 15 hours for $19.99 or 50 hours for $49.99, and minutes never expire. The original audio is deleted after transcription (within 48 hours at most), and we never use your files to train AI models.

Spanish transcription across regional accents

Spanish from many countries works: recordings from Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, the Caribbean and the United States. Strong regional slang and very fast speech are where you will see more mistakes, as with any automatic transcription.

Setting the language to Spanish, as this page does, helps with short clips and recordings that start with music or silence, where automatic detection has little to go on.

Spanish mixed with English

In a recording that is mostly Spanish with a few English words or names, those usually come out fine. When speakers switch between Spanish and English for whole sentences, results vary, so try a short sample first and set the language to Detect automatically.

We transcribe only. The transcript stays in Spanish; there is no translation to English.

What people transcribe in Spanish

Interviews and research with Spanish-speaking participants, university classes, sermons, podcasts and YouTube videos that need Spanish captions, WhatsApp voice messages from family or clients, and recordings for Spanish learners who want to read along.

  • Interviews: set the number of speakers for cleaner labels
  • Videos: download SRT or VTT for Spanish captions
  • Voice messages: upload the OPUS or OGG file as it is

What Spanish transcription costs

The same as any other language. Spanish files up to 30 minutes are free in full, 3 a day, without an account, and a longer file shows its first 10 minutes free. After that, minutes come in one-time packs: 3 hours for $6.99, 15 hours for $19.99 or 50 hours for $49.99. They never expire.

Frequently asked questions

Can I transcribe Spanish audio for free?

Yes. Spanish files up to 30 minutes are transcribed in full for free, 3 a day, without an account. Longer files show their first 10 minutes free.

Does it translate Spanish to English?

No. You get the Spanish transcript only. Many people paste it into a translation tool afterwards.

Does it work with Latin American accents?

Yes. Spanish from Latin America, Spain and the United States all work. Very fast speech and heavy slang are where errors are most likely.

Can I make Spanish subtitles?

Yes. Upload the video and download the SRT or VTT file, which you can add to YouTube or a video editor.

What about recordings in Spanish and English?

A few English words in a Spanish recording are usually fine. When people switch languages for whole sentences, results vary, so try a short sample first with the language set to Detect automatically.

How accurate is Spanish transcription?

On clear audio most words come out right, with punctuation, accents and ñ. Background noise, people talking over each other, very fast speech and heavy slang lower accuracy, so check names and quotes against the audio.

Can I download the Spanish transcript as a Word file?

Yes. Download DOCX, TXT, SRT or VTT. Downloads need a free account; a transcript you made without one moves to your account when you sign up.

Which Spanish files can I upload?

Any common audio or video file: MP3, M4A, WAV, WhatsApp voice messages (OPUS or OGG), MP4 and MOV videos, and more. Files can be up to 10 hours long.
